Online Giving

"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).

There are several methods you can use to bless Desert Foothills UMC with your tithes and offerings. Many of these methods may be more convenient for you than traditional cash and checks. All of these methods help DFUMC minimize handling costs and better plan for the future.  Regular offering time will continue to be a part of our Sunday morning services.

Shelby Giving is an option designed to enable you to financially give online through this website, through an app you download on your tablet or phone, or through text giving. This method of giving will provide the same confidentiality that you are accustomed to with bill pay.

If you would like to participate in Shelby Giving you can

  • Click on the Give Online Here link to setup your account and give online
  • Download the Shelby Giving App to your mobile device and give through the app
  • Give by text to 480-351-0019

While these methods are convenient, they all do cost a small percentage of the donation per transaction. The most cost effective way to give, with the most money going to minsitry, is to send your donation through the mail directly to:

May God bless you as you give!

Desert Foothills UMC Pledge Campaign

On a practical level, we ask our congregation to turn in Estimate of Giving Pledge Cards each year so that our Church Council is able to set an accurate ministry budget for the coming year. This allows us to make the most of every dollar given to the church. On a personal level, the commitment card is an opportunity for you to spend time in prayer and reflection, considering what offering you would make to God through our church in the coming year. Please fill out the card and bring it with you to worship or complete the online pledge to the right.
