Covid 19 Updates

(Phoenix, AZ May 17, 2021) Effective immediately, people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no longer need to wear a mask on Desert Foothills United Methodist Church campus. This is aligned with the updated guidance issued May 13, 2021 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for fully-vaccinated people.

To protect and care for others, please wear a mask if you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

There are many reasons that people may choose to wear a mask in addition to not being fully vaccinated, including being immunocompromised or living with someone who is. If you see someone who is wearing a mask, please continue to respect social distancing with them on campus. We want our campus to be a safe place.

Please continue frequent hand washing and cleaning high touch surfaces with sanitizers.

As always, if you are feeling sick, please stay home. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home until you are symptom free and it has been at least ten days.

If you are not yet vaccinated, it’s easier than ever to find places and times to get your COVID-19 vaccine. If you need help getting a vaccine or getting to an appointment, contact the church office.
